  1. You would simply click on "Update now" shown in your admin CP once it shows, and follow the instructions. You can force a check from System>Site Features>Applications if its not showing as of yet
  2. Zombieta would have been my fav 😄
  3. Marc replied to sychn's post in a topic in General Questions
You need to check the connection details there, as its not leading to the location your site is installed at
  4. You need to slow down with what you are changing here, as at the moment you appear to be just changing things and hoping for the best. The first thing you need to do is get back to where you were above when my colleague mentioned you need to contact you host. You had a 500 error, which is an internal server error. These are logged within your server error logs. If you are unsure on how to get the logs, you need to contact your host It absolutely does matter, yes. If your server is pointing to http then your conf_global needs to point to the same. And the same for https.
  5. That's correct. Scroll up on this post, and you will see bugs at the top 🙂 Please report all bugs there rather than the alpha forum
  6. When you say you added https, where did you add this? If just on your server, have you also updated your conf_global.php file?
  7. Check mod security on your server, to ensure this is causing you issues here
  8. I have cleared that for you
  9. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  10. This is a group option, so you would need to go to Members->Groups and edit the group, rather than editing node permissions for the group. You will see a blog tab on there
  11. You would need to contact your hosting company to ensure that mod_rewrite is enabled, and ensure you have the correct htaccess in place, that you can download from that same location.
  12. The alpha site was set up long before there was any public announcement of an alpha product existing. We had a few people in there testing, then invited more and more, until we got to the point of releasing this as a beta product to the masses. We wanted to keep things all in one place there for that reason. Once beta was released, we moved to using the main community, where people already have an account, and can discuss more openly. We did however say that we would leave the preview site open, for those who dont wish to create their own beta, so they can play with the new version if they wish to do so. That will eventually be closed. So, in short, there was quite a lot of 'before' thought 😄
  13. At present, thats simply how the FURL system works, as mentioned above. Of course I understand thats brought up as feedback here, however the changing of these is not something that would be a small job to do.
  14. It should always show 5 I believe. If its not, please post a bug and I can submit that
  15. Nothing has really changed from what Matt mentioned in the post you link to there. At present there isnt any plan to convert these to any other type
  16. These are still available, however these are only available to cloud customers, and you must be the primary contact on that cloud purchase to request a beta instance on cloud. Sorry for the confusion there
  17. I have brought this up internally to be looked into
  18. You would need customisation to achieve this. It wouldnt be something you are changing on your server.
  19. That link works no problem this end. Are you logged in?
  20. Marc replied to bosss's post in a topic in Classic self-hosted technical help
Glad to hear you now have it working 🙂
  21. There isnt really any way you would be able to do that, and still have it visible. If you want to remove it from visibility entirely of course, you can just deselect "show in store". But I dont think thats what you are asking here
  22. The old one isnt called classic. There were just individual applications sold separately. Classic is the "Classic self hosted model", if you want to look at it that way :)
  23. As mentioned above, you would be best to take a look at the topic discussing this. You cannot use any html on the new platform, no. However you should be able to achieve most things anyway
  24. Version 5 is available only on classic or cloud. So if you wish to use version 5 you would need to be on the classic license
