I was on the case and signed in with the account of the user. There is was not possible to cancel the previous subscription and the user wrote me per email, that also the paypal subscription was cancelled. The pic I post was the screen the user was shown.
With his permission I went into the ACP and on his account there and there I was able to delete the subscription and now the user can make a new subscrption with the new price.
The problem I am seeing : Is this just a single case or is this a general problem with users who had the subscription with the old price and now they are not able to continue the subscription with the new price. Subscribers who did not cancel the subscription with the old price still have there ongoing subscription with the old price which is ok. I guess this problem is only there when a user had a subcription with the old price ( paypal ) then cancelled the subscription before the new price was set.
If I want to change the price again on that subscription package - what has to be done that I don't loose the users who already are subscribed ? -
The problem is that I changed the price of the subscription - but the original subscription still exists just with a different price.

I checked the member profile as the member himself - there it was not possible to cancel the subscription. But in the ACP I was able to delete the subscription now the member has access again to make a new subscription. I guess the problem was, that this was an older subscription with an other price but I changed the price some time ago on that specific subscription. Maybe thats one of the reasons some older members never renewed there subscription ? I just found out because this member contacted me and described the problem and so I could find out.
That would be possible a matter of further research since I have like 500 members would made a subscription but never renewed - maybe because they couldn't.... well in case of this member it was the case.

I have a problem here which a user brought up.
The user made a subscription on my website with paypal which has expired and was canceled on PayPal as well. This subscription was the one with the old price but I change the price on that subscription package some time ago.
Now this user wants to continue with a subscription but it's not possible since the system is saying the subscription has expired and has to be canceled. When you click on that link nothing happens - just leads to this page :
What can be done that this user can renew the subscription ?

I am currently running my IPB on Maria DB 5.7.36 - the support dashboard is now asking to upgrade to 8.0.13 or above. So I contacted the support of my hosting to do the upgrade - now they are asking which version should be installed since version 10.6 would be available at the moment.

Thanks for your reply - I found the solution by editing the theme and adding HTML to the nexus/client/credits module.

Hey guys,
I am currently testing the referral system on my platform. One user now bought a product using the test referral link and I got a comission. Where can I view the amount of commissions in my user account ?
and the 2nd question is - do some of you guys made some experience with the referral system - do user really use that feature or is the a too high possibiliy of fraud when you open the referral system up to all users ?

I had setup the system and the payment already appear in stripe - but it did not get resolve. I checked all again and for some reason this time the secret key of the webhook an other code was displayed. So I entered that one now - and now it seemed to work. The IPB sent me an automatic email now that a member purchased a subscription.
I hope all is fine now.

Hello,
I have recently actived the Stripe payment gatway for subscriptions of my members. Now the first customer wanted to make a subscription which got registered at Stripe but the subsription was not proceded and marked as " nicht erfasst " .
I contacted the Stripe support and they said all is fine and they think it's a problem with the webhook. Thats the translated message I got from them.

Any help or suggestions ? I basicly need the payment gateways for " subscriptions " and it has to work automaticaly.

I like the idea of getting rid of FB and others and to focus on the own community and to have a tool to gain more traffic since it is hard enough to pull traffic to your own community. I'll might be in when the beta phase is over.

Hi everybody,
I want to optimize my sitemap settings including the robots.txt file.
Now here is the situation. My IPB is in a subfolder of my domain hanspeterkruesi.com/members - the main domain has 3 static pages ( like landing pages ) which lead to the departments of the IPB.
Now the question is - do I have to mention those 3 static pages in the robots.txt file or I just create 2 sitemaps. The one which is generated automaticly by the IPB + on which takes the static pages + hanspeterkruesi.com/members into the list ?

My SEO adviser gave me the suggestion that I should run my IPB in english and german. Does anybody have any experience in this matter ? Does it in fact make a difference in the SEO ? And is it then possible to have the core on the IPB in 2 languages ?

That is a non Admin account - and I logged in with a random member - was the same.

That's what the user did ( at least he wrote that ) and then he could not cancel the subsription on the IPB - as described above. But maybe there was an other malfunction.
