Cannot find any settings for this. Can it be done by skin edit?
-
Recently it was discovered that the built-in anonymous posting function had a critical security flaw.
Has IPS considered incorporating this addon instead?
Much better and to my knowledge have had no flaws. Been tested for years on some the largest communities in the world. -

We still have two settings for this that are becoming redundant, make sure that you have AdminCP > Settings > Posting > Prune IPs configured.
Yes, that is set to 3 months.
I have posted posted a link in our client area to a member who haven't visited for 13 years and still have stored member history, poll and registration IP's. -
Thanks Stuart, I thought I was going crazy.. 🙂
Looks like there still are IP's that are not pruned:
Registration
Poll votes
Member history -

I told them, that i have to stress out that violating current laws regarding PII can mean severe penalties for those running a community.
This is a serious problem, especially for us in the EU. Will it be fixed in 4.7.16?

We are running 4.7.15 which is the last revision.

It's our main site, I only see this if I click on "Client area".
Domain ending with "n", not "a". (Which is a closed support site) -
It's the guest search flood setting.
Currently set to Unlimited. If we try to set it to a value, f.ex. 10 seconds, it fails. -
Details in our client area.

We have the same problem. Pruning is set to 3 months, but IP's are still kept up to more that 2 decades ago.
As far as I can tell it's the same for all members. -
Thanks a lot, that worked.

Copy the second post and add it with an edit to the first post. Then hide the second post.
Thanks, but second post contains attachments.
I'm moderator and the posts are made by a member. -

Is it possible?

we agree that there is now value in letting most profiles be indexed.
Can you explain the reason behind this?

Suggest that, in addition to post content, poll content is also saved. (Just lost a lot of work on setting up a poll followed by a power outage..)
-
Would you consider updating Ads After X Posts also? It was nearly as popular as Enhanced ads.
-
Haven't been able to find any information on this.
Can our site be compromised by installing a marketplace application?
-
It says "After Every X-Number of Forum Posts!", but can you have an ad inserted "Before the last post" ?
And only if topic contains 3 or more posts? (To a void 2 consecutive ads when using the built-in "After first Post"
Can you have 2 or more banners rotating in the same ad-position. Evenly or weighted?

Still no reply.

To my knowledge, the reason not to delete topics is that other members have used their time and effort to respond.
Thus topics with no response should automatically be deleted if a member decides to leave. At least an option to do so.
How to set default search results order to Date, not Relevancy?

Ok, then I suggest that the default can be selected in the ACP. At least on our forum sorting on Date is more relevant than Relevancy.
Should also be possible to sort on number of replies and views.
