I renewed my license, applied the latest version and the sitemap is now working like it should.

I checked the settings for the sitemap and it is using the recommended settings and I haven't made any changes to the settings in the past. I know I should upgrade to the latest version but not sure if I should put more time and money in a site that appears to be going nowhere.

I apologies for the delay in getting back to you. (Just noticed the same topic on my site recently). But just in case you missed my reply there, here it is again.
Only the resized images and the thumbnails generated for them will be stored. No it's not currently natively supported but I can flag this for addition in a future version.
