  1. I tested the above scenario with the Microsoft Login and see the same results. If I setup an account without using a Social Media Login the app works as expected. Please provide guidance on how to setup the app to work with Social Media Logins (LinkedIn and Microsoft) as it doesn't seem to work for me
  2. It appears that the Invite System ignores the requirement to utilize the “Invitation Code” when creating an account via LinkedIn. As shown below I left all of the “required” Sign Up fields blank. If a person clicks on the “Sign in with LinkedIn” as shown above they will be directed to the following screen: Upon clicking on “Sign In” button the web browser redirects to the forum with the member showing up as a new member Signed in via LinkedIn. Here is a screenshot of the setting showing that the “Require an invitation to register an account via Social Media” has been enabled. I went ahead and tried again with an “Invitation Code” as shown below: Upon clicking on “Sign In” button the web browser redirects to the forum with the member showing up as a new member Signed in via LinkedIn. When I verify the Invitation Code I find that the app does not show that the code had been claimed.
  3. I just tried creating a Topic and Calendar in newly created Public, Open, Closed, and Private Clubs and in all cases only one of each was created. I would recommend providing more details about your setup and the steps you took that lead up to this odd behavior so that InvisionHQ or others can help determine the cause. What were the names of the extra features that were created en mass? Has creating additional Topics and Calendars worked in the past?
  4. Feature Request: Allow owner of club to be able to create a set of club rules that individuals have to agree to prior to being granted access to the club. Click "Join Club" a dialog box pops up with club rules and the member has to click on an agreement or cancel button to continue. If they click on the agreement button they are forwarded to the club's home page.
  5. How do I go about removing the club tab in the members profile. If I can't please add it to the Feature Request list.
  6. How do I go about removing the member profile links from appearing as shown below? If I can't, please add it to the Feature Request list.
  7. Feature Request: Be able to choose a smaller font for the Club name so more of it will appear in Grid Display mode
  8. Feature Request: Another idea to help make the club look more "finished": Have things line up with each other and remove duplicate items. On second thought...Why do you even need these at all as they affect the community and not the content on that page. Same goes for all of the tabs. Feature Request: Have "Unread Content" & "Mark site read" on the the "Topics" page work only on content there and not the whole community. Feature Request: Offer the choice between a circle, square and rectangle as some logos don't work well in a circle.
  9. Feature Request: Another idea to help make the club look more "finished" by adding borders on the sides and bottom as shown and then centering the "Contact Us" at the bottom: The new side and bottom borders would expand downward and upward based on the content inserted. Current "unfinished" look: My example is a quick and dirty mock-up so it isn't pixel perfect.
  10. Feature Request: Please provide a toggle to hide the "Activity" tab.
  11. Feature Request: As people will be spending more time in clubs and in some cases paying for access it would be nice if the look and feel of the club looked more "finished". Bad Look 1: Bad Look 2: Bad Look 3: Better Look 1: Better Look 2: It would be nice if we could readily change the Font Color and background color to better match the photo.
  12. If such functionality exists or could be added can we name it to something other than "Home" and be able to pick which tab order it appears.
  13. I’m using Clubs Enhancements in conjunction with Babble. I’m encountering an issue that might confuse people and it might be related to your app or with Babble. If you click on the “Archive” button as shown above it redirects you away from the Club page to the “Babble” page: This behavior is also present if you choose to utilize “Open in Pop Out”. This may be confusing to the end-user and will require them to go through extra steps to navigate back to the club.
  14. What are the advantages of converting the plugin into an app and how will there be a way to switch over to the app if you already have a plugin installed?
  15. @InvisionHQ Now that 4.3 has been released and you have had a few months to get familiar with the code base it would be nice to engage the community about "your" vision for the future of this app? Do you intend on adding additional functionality or is the feature set locked?
  16. Your plugin works as expected in the scenario you provided in your screenshots. When you add additional groups to the mix it "seems" to complicate matters. I ended my initial posting with the following: " Could you please look into how best to address this. I continue to think that there is something amiss and you would want to have an open dialogue to address my concerns. Customers are often wrong (I may be too) but sometimes they just might see things you might overlook. Maybe 51 out of 52 use cases your plugin works as you designed/intended and maybe one time it doesn't. I was hopeful that the best way to address this issue would have been that you would be open to the possibility that I might be that one time and engage me in a dialog to determine if that might be the case and is there a ready work around. But based on the quote above it appears you have decided to wash your hands of the matter. Oh well...
  17. Adriano, your logic and writing may seem perfectly straight forward to you but may not be that way to one and all. The fact I initially brought up the topic should have been an indication to you that your description may not have been as clear as you thought, and my followup comment highlighted the lack of clarity on your part could and did have adverse consequences. Communication between one and more people often goes amiss, but, as long as no one takes it personally it seems to work out for most people.
  18. If your plugins impact core functionality while adding additional functionality please make a note in the product description. This will help potential customers determine if the trade off is worth it as well as prevent them having to go down the path of discovery to learn about the altered behavior. I spent several hours trying to make a case that something was amiss and documenting my findings for an issue you readily knew about which is frustrating.
  19. I set up a profile field utilizing your Profile Field Per User Group plugin. I only want those individuals in the members group to be able to fill out the field and all groups but guest to be able to view and search on the field. If I login as someone who is a member of the Companies or Employees group I don’t see this field show up in my profile which is expected behavior. I can also see the field for those individuals in the member group that has filled it out. The problem arises when it comes to search. As shown below I enabled search on this field. The search field “Interested in” as shown below “only” appears if the person logged in is a member of the “Members” group: If the person logged in is a member of the “Employees” or “Companies” group they don’t see the “Interested In” field as shown below: Messaging Method shows up for individuals who are members of “Companies”, “Employees” and “Members” due to the fact I chose all three groups in the “Allowed Groups” setting for the “Messaging Method” Profile. The Administrator Account can’t see either the “Messaging Method” or “Interested In” fields. It appears that the “Allowed Group” Setting provides permission to see a profile field as well as being shown in the Member Search. Your plugin should allow for the ability to pick and choose which group(s) can search on a profile field in “Member Search” as well as being able to limit visibility of the profile field itself by group. 20. "When a member starts typing in a tag it will show a list of similar tags that have already been used by others based on what they have typed so far. So, if the member type "V" for "Victory" it will show them a list of tags to choose from that start with V. Once they get to "i" (Vi) it will show all the tags that start with Vi... so on and so on. Kind of like a recommended tag selection. If they don't see any that are close to what they want, they create a new one." This would allow one to see variations of the word being considered for tagging. Such as Victor or Victorious which might also have been created in the past. If one should see a bunch of similar tags it might then be prudent to create a tag called "Victory" and then reassign Victor and Victorious tagged content to Victory. As languages tend to have many different words or variations of those words meaning the same thing it will require some effort on users and the administrators to keep the amount of tags to the barest minimum and ensure all relevant content is tagged appropriately. Other users may have created "Winner", "Winners", "Winning Side", etc. Some consensus will need to be made as to which "tag" is appropriate and ensure everyone uses said tag and report any variation to ensure all content is assigned with the appropriate tag. A little labor intensive in the beginning but once you have a good tag list defined it will get easier and less time consuming to manage.
