Can we fast-track some of the updates approval processes for verified/ trusted creators? The wait for IPS verification on simple bug fixes r/t software updates for some of these apps can be extremely long and impact our communities negatively while we wait. Seems like there are plenty of content creators here that regularly submit working, verified apps that would be safe to allow on some sort of fast-track as opposed to unknown submitters.
  3. Yet another good case for skeleton text! https://ionicframework.com/docs/api/skeleton-text#:~:text=Skeleton Text is a component, block at the specified width. Still rooting for this to catch on around here

  5. I think things like this should be left to browser extensions for the vast minority who seek it out. https://talkingtalk.co.za/bionic-reading-i-wish-it-was-that-simple/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=bionic-reading-i-wish-it-was-that-simple&utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=bionic-reading-i-wish-it-was-that-simple
  6. Does this mean we will have the ability to utilize "Featured" or "Promoted" content as a Zapier trigger? Currently, I have no way of promoting content that has been selected and/or featured via Facebook. For example, I am trying to create a Facebook/Instagram post when a Gallery Image is marked as Featured or Promoted. The current options do not allow for this. Would love to do the same with blogs and topics.
  7. You can't request them, those options no longer exist in the current API. They have streamlined everything and consolidated it under a single option called pages_manage_posts I believe. Zapier is the only option to achieve this now and unfortunately there is no trigger I am aware of to selectively promote content?

Allow for filtering of apps by licenses I currently own / have installed / are eligible to renew. and Sort by most recently updated per subcategory.

Thanks for the consideration. In the meantime I have no problem doing some CSS adjustments, but it's nice to know its in the back of your mind 🙂

Unsure if this is intended, but it seems a record listing on a dark mode site isn't displaying in an ideal manner:

Any chance of an option to display the flag after the member name rather than before it?
  13. Adobe and Microsoft both faced similar responses when they went SaaS. They also got negative feedback from small businesses and adjusted course accordingly. Adobe by offering cheaper lighter option and Microsoft by offering 1 time licenses as well as 365 licenses. https://medium.com/bigfootcapital/7-lessons-from-adobes-successful-transition-to-saas-d0f7250ab352
  14. You know they already had a meeting where they decided on this prior to announcing 😛 In all seriousness, from a business management standpoint there is a risk in alienating loyal customers for any brand. They wouldn't be the first to make that mistake. However that assumes they rely on us small customers running downloaded instances on our own servers; if they see their push to SaaS and cloud as worth alienating those like us, it obviously means that's where they see their profit and as a result their future. If that is indeed the case, I wouldn't expect any discontent from us to make any significant change or deviation from the path we are headed down as the large players that can afford their cloud services have a very different set of values than we do as niche and small community admins. Darn capitalism. There's always the option of an Open Source fork 😉
