What I would like to see is developer documentation for the total beginner
Looking at the Developer Articles, in particularly Creating your own hooks and IP.Board 3 Plugins and Hooks in the IPS Company Blog, a lot just went right over my head
I know about modifying files and skin templates and stuff I just want to understand how to do this with hooks
Can anything be changed with a hook or is there a limitation to what can be done?
It just looks a lot harder to use hooks then modifying files and skin templates, although from my understanding it is suppose to be easier? -

I would like to see IPB ACP configured so that Admin's can drag and drop the order in which the Skins appear on the forums. Sort of like how we can drag and drop the forums in ACP.
That would be a nice addition :) -
Services like this did not exist several years ago when those old licenses were available. That is why we switched to the Standard license type so we could offer more than just "technical support" like we did before.
We are not taking anything away from Perpetual or Lifetime license holders and are keeping our promises to them as they were made at purchase time.
You were promised lifetime support and upgrades and that promise has been kept.
This service is not support - it is new service that we never promised or announced or even mentioned before.
There are of course costs involved with maintaining this service and so it has been made available only to holders of a current, active license.
You are of course welcome to remain on the license you purchased, with the terms that were promised to you at the time, or pay for this new service
Don't see anything wrong with that at all. Seems very reasonable and understandable to me -

Just read this and it sounds like a really good idea, that you can enable or disable if you choose to. I am sure this is going to be a great benefit to forum administrators and am looking forward to seeing this in action -

Just would need to somehow change the white backgrounds to transparent.

Lindy, what about something where the user can check off a list of things that match their problem..
Please choose from the list what best matches the issue you are having. ( ) Is your board offline, inaccessible or giving errors? ( ) Are you having a problem getting into the AdminCP? ( ) Has your board been hacked, attacked or in some other way compromised? ( ) etc ( ) None of the above. Picking the wrong item from the list can cause delays in your ticket. If you are unsure of what to pick, then pick none of the above.

Not every form submission needs to use ajax in my opinion. I'm fine with a good ol "submit to server, refresh page" form submission now and then...
