I just bought it. :D
-
And what happens if someone deletes an emoticon to make room for more? :P Everything's broken.
-
1000 laugh emoticons is a bit over half of a megabyte...
-
It's been this way since 1.3 or even earlier...
-
Cleancut doesn't seem very 'Clean' or 'Well cut' anymore...
I really, really don't like how there is a huge space just for the ip.board logo. I also don't like a whole other row for the search and signed in as functions...
Couldn't it be more like this:

? -
Now that could work, and you could make them rollover if you don't use them, so after 6 months of non use you would have 2 tickets to use in an emergency, I like that, not sure about the length of time though, only IPS could determine that as they know how bust they are, maybe it could be set to monthly? but at least you would then have a priority, which is was suggesting
Maybe rollover... But max at like 3 priority tickets so they don't just stack up and whenever they have a minor problem they use them. :P I dunno, though, rollover might not work... -
How about like 1 emergency ticket (first priority) every 3 months or something? :)
-
Wait, I'm confused... Does this mean nulled boards could also get this service for however much per year? Or would they have to recode their system to figure out you have an old license, and give you a special deal to get the spam service?
-
Then I guess you're kinda SOL, huh? >_<
Here's a thought if money is out of the question: Buy a new license and use that code with your board. You'd still have your license then.
Not great company because of a simple, small thing that barely matters? Get outside. ;) -
I would like to request this topic to be closed. It's obviously getting out of hand. Listen: If you want the service, OK, change your license! Otherwise, continue to use your board like you used to. It's. just. a. tiny. service. No one is forcing you to change. IPS is right.
Stop arguing and acting like little kids! That's my job, being 14.
And IPS, you shouldn't put up with this. I don't pay you to tell excuses to customers who 'just don't get it'... So get to work with IP.Board 3.0.2! :P -
Better. :)

I'm simple; here's what I did:
I turned the old forum offline, and pointed it to my new boards IP. They continued using this for 2 days just to be safe (123.123.123.123/forums'), and by then the domain was synced. After that, I updated the conf_global to the domain and everything was smoothly transferred to the domain. :) -
Actually, I think their management (AKA Charlie) doe this because on weekends because nothing is ever verified then but the ticket support is still staffed on weekends.
Therefore, it might take a while OR you'll have to wait until the 6th... -
-
Umm, about half a second for me.
Weird... It really does take a long time.
I'm not talking about generation time, but bandwidth speed to my computer... -
Wow, their boards take 2 years to load though!

Trust me, I've had the same extremely annoying problems -- particularly with the online list, which doesn't work at all! It shows members online as logging in, doesn't show members sometimes (including myself, staring at the online list!) and makes 'ghost' guests with the same IPs as well as showing members as guests. >_>
And some of my members cannot get to the board at all for them; it's a white page. Ag. Luckily I was able to downgrade again with the database I backed up right before I upgraded. I also don't appreciate a lot of the 2.3.6 stuff sitting around my folders, bloating the upgrade to 3.0.0.

Is this an active query at that exact time, or over 15 minutes or 5 minutes how you count 'active' users?
-
There is a sucker born every minute! ;) You should take advantage of them like I.
-
Awesome! That's good to know. :)
-
-
You really should have chosen to use CentOS or Debian IMO... :P

Stupid Windows IPB devs that haven't turned off the thumbnail cache in their control panel. :P
