When temporarily banning a member for 7 days, I mistakenly banned his IP. When his time was up, I found out what I had done because the member as well as other members with overlapping IP's were turning up banned still. The member I banned had just over 1,000 IP's (40 pages @ 25 each page). He's been a member for 17 years. I had to delete them all one at a time. That's on me... my mistake. It would be nice if there were an option to mass delete. Just a thought... Thanks

You might suggest to add an option. Ol' Mitch F had 40 pages of IP's @ 25 each. I've deleted them all. Lots of fun! I do thank you for your help, @Jim M

Is there a way to do this other than removing them one at a time? I'm not using CloudFlare. I didn't think I was banning his IP but like I said this was my first time doing this so I must have missed it. Thanks The members affected live in the same area - St Louis. On their accounts, each show using dozens of IP's. Some obviously overlap. Thanks!

For the first time, I banned a member for 7 days. I thought it was straight forward - banned him and set the date for 7 days later. Four weeks later, he's not banned but all his IP's are on the ban list. Problem is, there are dozens of other members that use the same IP's and are finding themselves banned. Each time I have to go in and delete the IP's off the list but there are hundreds. What did I do wrong and how can I fix it?

It wasn't until I put ALL my ads back to the regular format before my forum was back to normal... ads were popping up all over the place, singles and doubles.

I'm glad someone else is having issues. I just initiated them. This is what I'm getting: Double ads. Ad over the post, not in between posts. Anybody else seeing this?

I have to correct myself and at the same time ask a question. I have not found a way to hide the promoted article from news feeds. Am I missing it somewhere or can it be done? It shows up in everybody's Unread Content and it's annoying because it's a duplicate post.

It creates an article in Pages but does creates an identical post on the forum, like in 3x. I just go and "hide" that post. I guess I could delete it as well. There might be a setting or toggle that stops the post... I haven't used it enough to know my around it.

It worked perfectly. Wish I found this 2 years ago!

I did find this... you go in to plug in / edit and choose who - Allowed to use the feature Highlight admin or root admin.
