Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
15Degrees Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Hi Guys If I change this "post must be approved" to be unchecked and save it and then come back in the setting has not been saved? I've tried this multiple times in various groups. Is there a delay in making the change the Db accepting it or something or is it a bug?
Marc Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Im not seeing any issues on this end. Could I just check you have the latest updates and also check there are no patches showing in the support area of your admin CP?
Randy Calvert Posted March 15 Posted March 15 You might also try clearing your browser cache or try a different browser to see if the issue persists. I've seen a situation where a JS did not cache properly in the browser and I was getting some funky things happening in the ACP.

Hi Marc All up to date although a patch appeared today that I have to implement. I mainly use Chrome which is all up to date. It appears this is not just in that area. I just unchecked permissions for seeing a forum and went back in and none were saved. But then if you leave it a bit and then go back in they are all saved. It's an odd one. It's like a delay to me seeing the change happen.
Marc Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Given your description there, that would indicate caching somewhere on the server.
15Degrees Posted April 2 Author Posted April 2 Hmm yeah might be. We are using WPRocket Redis Object cache Perfmatters CloudFlare Ill run some tests and assume it makes the change but we just don't see it because of caching.
Marc Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I would very much advise on stopping all of those till you find the issue. If you have quite a few different items caching, I would also very much advise you look at those and ask yourself if you really need them.
