Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Michael Collins Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Hi there, I have just realised that apparently admins should have the ability to "sign in as" any of the users of the forum. I don't seem to have this option available to me for some reason. Do you have any idea why that might be? From what I can tell it should be an option on their profile in Admin CP correct?
stoo2000 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 It isn't supported by the WordPress SSO (or really any SSO that is session-based).

Michael Collins Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 @stoo2000 Ok thank you, is there any way around that if we need to sign in as a member to test an issue without switching off the sso plugin?

In theory, if you have similar functionality in your WordPress install it may work, something like https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-as-user/ Alternatively, temporarily disabling the SSO will allow you to use the functionality. I do have an open report to look into the possibility of allowing this feature to work with the SSO. That'll be in a future version if it's possible.
Michael Collins Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 @stoo2000 thanks very much, i'll give the WP route a go. Yes it would be helpful to have the capability in a future version of the SSO plugin, you've got my vote for that.
