Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
DC23 Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 We are running a slightly older version of Invision (4.6.11), but we're constantly running into outages with errors that can only be fixed with phpmyadmin table repairs. At first it was the core_sessions table and now it's the core_view_updates. Is there a permanent solution that would fix this issue?
Randy Calvert Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 (edited) That would be a server issue. The host may deny it, but it is absolutely a server issue. Also make sure all tables are innodb. Edited November 7, 2023 by Randy Calvert
Marc Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 The only permanent solution to that problem, would be to get your hosting company to resolve the issues with the MySQL setup. There isn't anything in terms of software fixes. As mentioned above, all tables should be INNODB. Of course, if you would rather not deal with hosting at all, there is always our cloud solution that may be worth checking out
