Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
TCWT Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 I have a reseller account with WHM/Cpanel access. How do you guys set it to automatically backup your database daily? Is there a script that I can enable and have it automatically download to another remote ftp server or another location?

After you log into your WHM panel as the root user, type ‘backup’ in the search field, then click on the Backup Configuration option the Backup and from there Set your Scheduling and Retention preferences accordingly. One word of advice if I may, alsways check your backups to make sure that it has been done thoroughly and it is not corrupted. Hope it helps. Edited October 15, 2023 by Miss_B
TCWT Posted October 17, 2023 Author Posted October 17, 2023 I don't think my host enabled that option. All I see is this: Account Backups You do not have any automatically generated backups that are currently available. Your server administrator or server owner must enable this feature.
Randy Calvert Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 That would be a host issue then. 🙂 As you only have a reseller account, they control what options you have access to.
