Courses: why isn't the lesson title an "h1" tag?

In courses, on a lesson page (domain.com/courses/lesson/4-lesson-name/), the lesson title is an h2 tag. There's no h1 tag. Why is that? 

For SEO purposes, and even for CSS styling purposes, it seems like it would make more sense to have the lesson title be an h1 tag and then my own subtitles be h2 tags? 

Whoops: I just realized that the page is meant to be viewed as part of a module, and thus the module name is the h1 tag. Makes sense.
