4.7.12 Cannot add or remove editor buttons

In 4.7.12 I’ve just noticed that you can drag and drop to add or remove editor buttons in Themes > Editor > Toolbars but when you refresh the page the toolbar reverts back to how it was. (Only tested via Safari using an iPad). Clearing the cache via Support Tool doesn’t resolve it.

Ive not been able to replicate this on my end. Are able to see if anything is showing up on console?

Hi Marc,

I’ve just retested and it still the same on Safari iPadOS 16.5. I see there’s a rapid update available so I’ll update and advise if it happens to resolve it. I’ve also got the same results on another site I’ve not yet upgraded that’s using v4.7.11.1.
 

Weird. The button icon moves from the bottom toolbar but doesn’t appear on the top toolbar when you drop it, when I refresh the page it’s back on the bottom toolbar (unused icons) but in a different position.

I’ll do some more testing.

Sounds very much like it could be an issue on that specific device unfortunately.
