Only City, State in the location field

Is it possible to allow users only to include the city and state in the location field? We use it for our car registry and would prefer people not to post their precise address. I think there used to be plugins that did that, but none that I have seen are supported.

There would be no way in which to reduce the location field to this. You would need to use a custom field instead, rather than using the address fields.

This still works and will keep working as it only changes a flag in the method. 

You can still download it via IPS site but you can’t via your ACP.

Thank you!  I did not know I could just do that. Hopefully, it will gain support again or gets added as a default feature.

Just a note: you can download files from version 4.4. 4.5 onwards only via Admin CP.
