dougp Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 I cannot find where to do this. I thought I had it turned off but perhaps this got toggled with an update. What I'd like to achieve is that guests can access and read the site but cannot post. Thanks for any help.
Jim M Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Looks like you have Post Before Register enabled which will allow a guest to post and then register but the post will not show till the guest fully completes the registration and validation processes. If you do not wish to have this enabled, ylease ensure that in ACP -> System -> Posting -> Post Before Register is disabled.

Turns out that was not my problem but it did lead me to the actual problem; I had inadvertently left one of the group permission radio buttons selected which allowed guests to post in one of the forums. Solved, thanks again.
