Clear System Cache does not regenerate resources

I have a master (default) and child theme under it.

In \root\uploads\ I have two folder created automatically by system

• set_resources_0
  
• set_resourses_2
  

When I go to theme > child > Manage resources and re-save all resources manually they appear in in set_resources_2 but as soon I go to clear system cache they return to stage of image 2.

That cause 404 errors.

Sorry, Im a little confused as to what is being reported. Clear cache clears the cache. It wouldnt regenerate resource images as they should already be present. What exactly is it you are trying to achieve?
