Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Chris M Jenkins Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Hi, Is there any way to make posts from new members go into the moderation queue? We manually approve all memberships to prevent spam, but we occasionally approve users who appear to be legitimate, but who quickly begin posting spam. I'd like a user's first few posts to go into the mod queue, so we can determine whether or not they're a legitimate user. Ideally, once we've approved one of their posts, the queue requirement would be lifted. I know we can force all posts containing URLs to enter the moderation queue, which would likely help, but we don't want to stop our existing trusted users from being able to include URLs in their posts. Thanks in advance!
Solution Jim M Posted October 13, 2022 Solution Posted October 13, 2022 You can do this for a whole group or just for a first few posts for a group in ACP -> Members -> Groups -> edit group -> Content tab -> Require approval before content shows? (ensure you have "Bypass content moderation" disabled) SeNioR- 1
