Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
웨일팀 Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Hello. It's Junhee. I'm administrator for service forum, https://forum.whale.naver.com/. I recently found that I cannot log in to forum admin (https://forum.whale.naver.com/admin) with my ID/Passwords, which is definitely correct! I have no idea what happened, and even cannot find any way to find or recover my passwords... what a desperate situation; I thought 'invisioncommunity.com' sharing same account with forum admin, and tried to change password in invisioncommunity.com. But it didn't work... Please check out this issue quickly. My ID(Email) is *********. Thanks
Marc Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Your account on our site and your account on your own site are 2 separate things. If you are unsure on your password you would use the password reset form. Click to log in on the form to reset your password. The location of this directly is https://forum.whale.naver.com/lostpassword for the internal login system. You wouldnt have been able to see this due to the custom login you have for your site
웨일팀 Posted October 14, 2022 Author Posted October 14, 2022 Thank you for reply. However, I couldn't get any mail for reset my passwords though followed the guide on the page you gave me... I checked all my mail box including junk/spam several times and waited half an hour but nothing there. Is there any other way to recover my passwords?
Randy Calvert Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Is there another admin on the site that can reset the password for you? If you've use the lost password function and you know the email address associated with your account is correct... it most likely also means there is a problem with email delivery on your server OR that your email provider is blocking email from your site.
Marc Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 This being the case, you need to have your 3rd party SSO integration disabled, as its very likely this is blocking that function
