Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Ramsesx Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 My provider scanned all files for malicious code and gave some files from the folder uploads containing this code as malicious: !function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s){if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod? That's the beginning part from the <!-- Facebook Pixel Code --> I assume this is legit code and no reason to worry about? Thanks. B.t.w. what happens if I delete such a file?
Ryan Ashbrook Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Yes, that is legitimate code used by Facebook Pixel. You can learn more about that here. It's harmless, and doesn't actually show on the site itself unless you specifically enable it. Since you appear to be using template disk caching (which is why you found that in a file in the uploads directory), if you delete the file then it will simply automatically regenerate. Ramsesx 1
