Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
David Bryce Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Hi, guys - I installed the Facebook Login option a while back. It's been working fine. At one point, I enabled the Allow Admin CP logins option. That changed my login from the one I was using for the forums to my Facebook login credentials. I decided I didn't like that and turned it off; however, when I did that, my previous forum login credentials no longer gave me access to the ACP. I had to ask my webmaster to toggle the setting back on so I could regain access to the ACP...but now I have to use the Facebook access for the ACP, even though I'm not using it to access the forums. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, dB
Jim M Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Did you associate your Facebook account to your “forum” account? Did it update your email address on the account?
David Bryce Posted June 23, 2022 Author Posted June 23, 2022 (edited) Yes, it appears it did. If I just change it back to the previous email, that will fix the problem? Sorry for being dense... dB Edited June 23, 2022 by David Bryce
Solution Jim M Posted June 23, 2022 Solution Posted June 23, 2022 Yes, you may wish to disassociate it with your FB account and then you can update the email address to what you prefer. SeNioR- 1
David Bryce Posted June 23, 2022 Author Posted June 23, 2022 Thanks, Jim. One more dumb question - where do I dissasociate? FB or ACP...? I saw it earlier, but don't remember where that was... dB

You can also view your profile in the ACP > Members and there will be a little X next Facebook to disassociate.
Jim M Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 You’re very welcome. Glad to hear we could be of assistance.
