Showcase style classifieds module + integration

Hi everyone,
I'd be grateful for some advice with this one.  I'm looking to improve the marketplace feature on our current forums.  Ideally to make it similar to what might be found on some online classifieds websites like Gumtree or Craigslist.  So we'd be talking an image carousel for an ad and enhanced filtering capabilities, maybe based on suggested tags, and automatic notification for saved searches.

I haven't been able to find anything remotely similar although there are modules that offer one or two features.  Am I missing something?  Have any other members successfully implemented this kind of add on and, if so, how did you approach integration and maintenance?  Did you use third party software and cross link to Invision?
