Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Sonya* Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 I do not want the page to be cached. I have disabled cache output for guests and try to customize Guest Signup Widget. I do not see any changes unless I clear system cache? Why? How do I disable the cache entirely during setup and customizing?
Marc Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Have you also change the block cache? This would be subject to block cache as well Note you cannot switch that off completely. Only reduce it to a minimum
Sonya* Posted October 27, 2021 Author Posted October 27, 2021 Block cache? 🤨 I have disabled Cache output for guests. How do I disable block cache? I cannot find anything related to block cache using "block" or "cache" in ACP live search.
Marc Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Its in System>Settings>Advanced Configuration at the bottom
Sonya* Posted October 27, 2021 Author Posted October 27, 2021 Found, thanks. (Suggestion: add it to ACP live search, please). However, I have to set it at minimum 1 minute. I would like to disable it entirely, so that I can customize Signup Widget without clearing cache again and again. Possible?
Marc Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 That isn't something that is possible at present unfortunately. I have added a bug internally for the keywords missing Sonya* 1
