Inventory vs Purchases

Curious about this.   I had noticed this before on other products but the numbers never mattered before.  

I set the initial inventory to 500. 

But the math doesn't add up.

Am I missing something, or missing orders, or is it logging failed transactions as purchases?

I have created a ticket for you on this and escalated it to our developers, as I cant see why its doing that either. Someone will be in contact as soon as we know

I see my colleague resolved the original issue there, however we're awaiting your response on a subsequent related problem. Could I confirm you have seen that response, or have you resolved that part too?
