I need plugin where all recent threads and posts come on the header like xenforo have.

is there any plugin for IPS forum?

Yes, it's even called Recent Topics. You can buy it in the Marketplace. I don't know which XF plugin you mean, but this one is excellent.

You cannot find it for 4.6, sad to say.

Found it in about 20 seconds and yes for 4.6
