How to do an organized collection of pdf files

I have to make an organized collection of pdf files uploaded by registered users with a title and description line.

Over time, the files could be several hundred and therefore must be easily found.

What are your tips? Thank you!

A Pages database, with a "title" & "description" field, along with a file upload field.

I'd also suggest using categories too.

Only if you wanted to host the pdf there.

I said to use Pages.
