Usergroup icons that show next to usernames

Hello,

I've noticed a few forums that are currently currently using this same look on their boards. When viewing a members profile, thread view, or other parts of the forum, a random FontAwesome icon is shown with a hovertip that says something like "Management Team" or "Moderator" next to a members name. It seems to also be in sync with their primary usergroup as well. I am looking to replicate this same look on our board but haven't found any add-ons that fit with it. Which leaves me to believe it will only be doable with custom HTML/CSS. Any thoughts folks? I'd much appreciate your help on this.

Edit the group and add the FA icon in the Group Formatting. Example:
