Hi there. Prior to the upgrade I confirmed that we were already on IPS4 and met the php/mysql version requirement. When we ran the upgrade last night while extracting the files from the Admin CP upgrade we encountered the following error

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ':', expecting ';' or '{' in /XXX/XXXX/public_html/forum/init.php on line 923"

I filed a support ticket but would also like to get this resolved quickly. For whatever reason our host site backup is not restoring to the previous forum version as well as manual downloading and sending the files via FTP. I am curious if editing the file in question above to the expected syntax would resolve the problem (or just make it worse).

Thank you!

We tried replacing it and now the error reads

"Fatal error: Non-abstract method IPS\IPS::isThirdParty() must contain body in /home2/clonetrooper/public_html/forum/init.php on line 923"

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
