Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Michael Pedrotti Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 Is it possible to change the message that is displayed when an attachment is unavailable? For example. Guests cant download attachment and it shows this error message below, when it reality its simply because they are not a member. It should show that they need to sign up to the forums instead as this would hurt conversion of guests to members on the forum.  It should say something along the lines of "This attachment is available for members only. Click "Sign In" below to create your free account now"  Sorry, there is a problem This attachment is not available. It may have been removed or the person who shared it may not have permission to share it to this location. Error code: 2C171/1  Â
Miss_B Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 I think you can change the error message by changing the value of the appropriate language string.
Michael Pedrotti Posted January 16, 2021 Author Posted January 16, 2021 Awesome thanks. This is something that should be changed by default though 😄
