How to disable notification for some members?

We have this strange request few times, when some member leaves us and they don't want to delete their account for preserving content but want to disable all notifications.

Is there a way, we can switch off all notifications for certain members from AdminCP?

Not from the ACP. Log into their account and go to their notifications:
