jesuralem Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Hi, Does anyone know how this statistic is calculated ? I keep beating my record but Google Analytics clearly does not have the same number, and does show a peak at the moment of the record shown in IPS.
Sonya* Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 IPS calculates the number of visitors based on "visited the site in the last 15 minutes" GA calculates the number of visitors based on "visited the site in the last 5 minutes" So you will have something about "GA online visitors * 3" in ACP.
jesuralem Posted January 24, 2020 Author Posted January 24, 2020 Thanks for the answer, but my gap is greater than that : My "most online" is around 80% of my whole daily users in GA, and nine times what GA gives for the ours it the mas was reached.
Sonya* Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Where do you have your "most online" number from? Is it a widget? Which one? Or ACP -> Online Users?
jesuralem Posted January 24, 2020 Author Posted January 24, 2020 it is the default IPS widget "members statistics" but the numbers in the acp are the same. All i can think about is crawlers that would make a lot of requests...
Sonya* Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Can you compare users online in ACP Dashboard and GA Real-Time. How much is the difference right now?
