For creating contest to encourage login on the site

I want to encourage members to login and update profile .....For same I want to have a contest which says something

Login today and a get a chance to win .....

We can export members who logged in on the date...but there will be timezone difference.....

How to see which timezone my board will extract the list ?

Any suggestions that can help me to implement the same.

Timezone difference won't matter - all times are reflected in your time zone, not the user's (we store times as timestamps which is timezone-agnostic behind the scenes).
