Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
sebastianr Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 The error message "Invalid JSON string:" appears everywhere in the AdminCP. I'm using php-fpm 7.4.1, php-json is up to date (CentOS 7, nginx). The error or system logs are empty Edit: BTW, the message boxes are also not working
bfarber Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 PHP 7.4 is not supported until Invision Community 4.5 is released. Downgrade to PHP 7.3.
sebastianr Posted February 4, 2020 Author Posted February 4, 2020 After update still not working. So it has nothing to do with the PHP version
bfarber Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Check your PHP error logs to ensure no errors are being logged there (it is possible something is happening which is printing out an error to the screen, causing the json responses to be invalid). Otherwise, reopen your ticket if you like now that PHP 7.4 support is available.
sebastianr Posted February 15, 2020 Author Posted February 15, 2020 PHP error logs are empty, PHP7.2 also not working.
sebastianr Posted February 15, 2020 Author Posted February 15, 2020 Even CSS-Dropdown in admin cp are not working. So we can't edit the api permissions. We are very dissatisfied...
Daniel F Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 Could you please submit a ticket so that we can take a look at this
sebastianr Posted February 18, 2020 Author Posted February 18, 2020 Update for the Community: The problems were solved by disabling our web server "security headers". IP.Board uses a Google API to generate the statistics. This is questionable, but it works now.
bfarber Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 A patch was submitted to resolve this yesterday I believe.
