Follow Behavior

It has come to my attention through some users that following a container does not follow all of that containers children. For example, a database on pages has:

Container

-Item 1

-Item 2

--Subitem 1

--Subitem 2

 

Following the container only follows that container, and not the items below it. Just like following Item 2 doesn't automatically follow its sub items (its children). This seems counter-intuitive at best, and bad user experience at worst. Recommending a change that following a container also follows child containers.
