January 6, 20232 yr We're not seeing the ignore button here either (using cic), and tested on the default theme. Edited January 6, 20232 yr by Dll

January 6, 20232 yr It was fine before, but honestly I just noticed it stopped showing, so don't know when it last worked. Sorry!
January 6, 20232 yr Author @Stuart Silvester, one more example from the one in the email from last month. Unless there are differences between default unmodified CiC theme and default unmodified self-hosted theme or even something technical (cache or something), I see no reason for a button doesn’t show up. It runs the function behind it if I do it via URL (… do?something). Thoughts? Edited January 6, 20232 yr by Adriano Faria
February 16, 20231 yr Is it possible to place the "Ignore forum" button elsewhere? Best would be under the topics. It causes graphical problems on mobile devices especially.

February 20, 20231 yr Or alternatively: It would also be nice if there was an option to use a little icon instead of a button (like a strokethough eye or so and only an Alt-text for it)...
February 24, 20231 yr This may not be compatible with the cloud, we just got blank pages across the forum after updating and had to uninstall.

February 24, 20231 yr Author Well, I can't do much, sorry. It's pretty hard to try to guess things for the cloud users. Works fine in mine. You can download the previous version on my board, if you want to use it.

February 24, 20231 yr Author 10 minutes ago, Daniel F said: Your method signature is different. Why isn't it logged in the user's logs? Shouldn't it appear in the PHP Scanner? Another thing: it's REALLY hard to check at every single IPS release if anything like that has changed. It should be documented. Edited February 24, 20231 yr by Adriano Faria

February 24, 20231 yr To be honest, this hasn't worked in a long time, on the previous release the ignore button didn't show. On 1/6/2023 at 8:49 AM, Dll said: We're not seeing the ignore button here either (using cic), and tested on the default theme.

March 13, 20231 yr We've not tested as yet. Not sure if we're going to be using it or not at this point tbh, everyone has kind of got used to it not being available.

June 6, 20231 yr One issue I'm finding is some members want to ignore a number of forums, however this app seems to hide the topics in Activity Stream versus considering them globally ignored for the purpose of retrieving items relevant to the per page setting. For example, if the Activity Stream has 25 items on the initial landing page, and 15 of them are topics in Ignored Forums, then only 10 items will show on the Activity Stream. Is there any way to load a full 25 item Activity Stream of the non-Ignored Forums? Edited June 6, 20231 yr by Clover13
June 6, 20231 yr Author It removes the topics from the AS, that’s why it shows less items there. It would require a considerable rework in this resource now to change this behavior, if that’s possible. I’ll take a look when I have to upgrade it to IPS5, where everything will have to be redone.

Hmm ok, yeah I'm not sure how it could work natively other than via permissions maybe. IPS5 is a year or more off, I may have to rework my approach for this as the impact can be significant for some members going from a default of 25 items on the page to only seeing a few. I know they can create custom Activity Streams too, but most aren't willing to go to that extent. Plus a big impedance is Activity Streams require selecting all the forums you want to see versus excluding the ones you don't. With 100 forums and you want to see 95 of them, that's a lot of clicking to set up the stream. Edited June 6, 20231 yr by Clover13
