Computer Candy Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I can't find a way to get the "Record Feed" block to show only on the main IP.Pages index page only. The block shows on every IP.Pages page. It's driving me nuts. I tried creating a custom block for it thinking it would give me more control but it does the same thing. Can someone point me in the right direction to accomplish this? Thank you.
opentype Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Blocks show on every view of a single page (front/cagegory/listing/display). There are no settings to change that. But they do not show on different pages. If you want a unique look for the site’s front page, you might want to consider create a separate page for it.
Computer Candy Posted August 30, 2018 Author Posted August 30, 2018 Thank you. So whether I'm in the article index page, within an article system subcategory or looking at a specific article, it is supposed to show? If that's the case, wouldn't it do the same thing with a custom page? If not, is there a good guide for doing that fairly easily and still maintaining the control of the current CMS-like functionality of my current home page?
opentype Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 You can create an empty page builder page and fill it with blocks (including articles feeds), but keep your article page separate from your homepage. That gives you more freedom. Here is an example of that: Homepage with just blocks using the SuperBlocks template and no sidebar: https://sing.salon The article page is this: https://sing.salon/articles/
