Pages: Listing records in parent category

Hi,

I'd like a Category in which no one can post. But users can post in its subcategories. However, I want to show all the records from child categories in the parent category. In fact, it seems that it's possible as the list "zone" says "3 XXX in this category". However, it doesn't show any record in the list.

With the stock templates, what you want is not possible. Pages records show in their category. They are not shown together in parent categories.

Then, why the stock template shows "3 jugadores en esta categoría" which means "3 players in this category" and then doesn't show anything? That count is from the above subcategories, the total amount of items.

I think that could be a mistake. If the current stock template doesn't show subcategories items, then it shouldn't count it's subcategories items, isn't it?

It shows nothing because you have no records in that category that is currently open.
