Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
DanielGingras Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 I'm not sure if this features exists and I just can't find how to enable it, but is there a way to send an automatic message to users when a new support request is received? The majority of my customers have the same issues that can be resolved with a couple of how-to videos I have posted on the site but they don't seem to actually watch those first. Plus I'm going on vacation next week and my temporary replacement won't have as much time to check for requests and reply as I do. An automatic response with links to fixes for most common issues would be helpful to my customers while I'm away. Thanks in advance!
Tom S. Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 I don't think that feature exists. The closest thing you can do is create a "stock action" with the preset message you want. Then manually send that to new requests. You should suggest that in the feedback forum. Would be a useful feature.

Joel R Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 @DanielGingras are you using IP.Commerce support? If so, it includes auto-responses and pre-filled messages.

Really? Where do I find those settings? I'm using IP.Commerce support but can't find where those are managed. I've checked every page and tab under support but couldn't find an option to automatically reply to newly created support requests.
