Gallery block as a field on a Database - Pay a developer?

Ok, I suspect this would not be exactly trivial....   curious as to what people think it would cost to develop.

Being able to add a field that was a Gallery Feed, and the user can select an image from it as a en entry to a field on a Database. 

Does that make sense?

Interesting. 

It's the album itself though, not an image in it.

What I am looking for is the ability to select from say a horizontal slider an image.  

Let's say the user wants to put a custom image on a mug. 

They could pick the type of mug from a category in an album.  

Several of them would allow you to pick a font, color of a shirt, ect.....
