how do I recount forum topics / posts ?

I want to force in ACP a recount of forum posts on main forum page index.

How can I do this?

I have 3000 posts in this forum and it says 1

recount badly needed. Please help

Am I guessing you didn't take Brandon's advice and not perform any manual queries?

I want to always take the advice of the pros, but there were 3100 topics to move merged within 100K topics

If I could do 1 per minute (great search skills) that would be almost 52 straight hours.

bfarbers manual idea just is not realistic. My users are freaking out too, I need the topics returned to their old forum.

So is there some way to get a recount going by using the ACP?:

Not built into the admincp for forums and topics I'm afraid. You'll need to submit a ticket.
