Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Pein Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I'm looking to change the option where "Ranks" are given after a certain amount of content posts and I'd like to give the ranks much like titles to members due to the better styling you can do with ranks rather than the titles where you can't style at all.
Joel R Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Welcome to the IPS community and congrats on your first post. Not sure I understand your full request, since there's a lot of conflicting text. This is what I think you want to do: give ranks based upon content posts, but use images. Yes?
Pein Posted March 1, 2018 Author Posted March 1, 2018 No I want to remove the "Minimum Content Items" aka I dont want ranks to require people to have a certain amount of content posted all I want is to be able to give out ranks to users.

I understand. I would recommend looking at iAwards by @InvisionHQ or Trophies & Medals by @Fosters as two choices where you can manually hand out badges to users.
Pein Posted March 1, 2018 Author Posted March 1, 2018 Badges aren't what I'm looking for. I've tried them, personally dont like them. Is there any other way to make it so ranks dont require "min content items"
Abel Garcia Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 I am bumping this post, as I am trying to figure this out myself. I use iAwards for giving out badges and awards, but would much prefer for ranks to be issued by admins and moderators, as we have a rank structure amongst our clan that simply would require far too many groups set up to accommodate.
NastyBoy Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 I also would like to see a option to use something besides content count. Our clan uses a point structure based on attendance instead of content. We have a points section under profiles that would be perfect.
