Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Philipp Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I just updated from 3.4 to 4.2.7 and can't find any moderator/admin options in the front end. I can't edit/delete posts or ban spammer. There are no options available even though I am logged in as admin. Any idea what is going on?
Daniel F Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Administrators don't have automatically mod permissions. Please ensure that you have moderator permissions ( ACP => Members => Moderators )
Philipp Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 Thanks for the quick help. All moderator permissions on my admin account were disabled. I enabled it and now everything is working as expected.
Joel R Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Keep in mind that you can add individuals and groups as Moderators. For eaxmple, you can add your entire Administrator group and assign then all permissions. Or you can add User A and assign them specific permissions for specific forums. Or both. Moderators will see the ModCP in their user menu.
