Notifications for Promoted Content

I'm not sure if I'm just not seeing it, but I just started playing with  the promotion and our picks features and noticed that there aren't any notifications settings around this.

I was looking for:

• A notification when your content has been promoted by staff or something like that with where it was promoted to (within the community, facebook, twitter).
• A notification sent to others who are able to promote, that content has been promoted by someone ("user just promoted......").

Is there anything like this and if not, I would add this to the suggestion box.

I would also add some sort of "promoted content" icon to show that something was promoted, it may stimulate members to contribute higher quality content if they see other content being promoted.

I really, really like that last suggestion.  Something like the Popular tag on the postbit.
