No Notifications on private password-protected thread?

Hi everyone,

We have a private, password-protected thread, and people are not getting notifications when they post, despite their notifications being set correctly (they get notifications OK when they post on other public threads).

Can anyone advise whether notifications are possible, and what they/we should do to activate them?

This might be better submitted a a support ticket, as it could be a bug.

No, that's right. Topics from protected forums won't send notifications, unless it has changed. 

Can't confirm now because I'm on a mobile device.
