Hi, 

I have a couple questions, I've gone through I'm sure every setting to no avail!

1) Newest post first - where can I find this setting? Instead of going to the page, I want to go to the post, I want to change this globally across the forum.

2) Avatars - anyway to change them back to square??

I'm running the latest version.

You mean on Activity Streams? If so:

It's a theme setting. ACP -> Customization -> Themes -> click in the pencil in the row of your theme -> Custom tab -> Use Rounded Photos? -> No.
