Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
SecondSight Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Hello ! I don't know why, after upgrading to version 4.2, there are a few topics where my board's members posts must now be approved by moderators... while they can post elsewhere without restrictions. Is this a new option or a bug ? If it's an option, where can I find it ? (I searched and didn't find...) Thank you !

SecondSight Posted August 7, 2017 Author Posted August 7, 2017 I don't think these are the settings causing the problem, because : - in the ACP, the boxes are not checked. - mots members can post without problems, while a few see their posts submitted to moderators approval and only in a few topic (in some topics, they can post without problems). Thank you.
opentype Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Apart from those forum settings, there is only the membergroup settings for content approval. If none of them cause it, then you need to open a ticket. There is no “per-topic per-member approval” in the stock software.
SecondSight Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 I've opened a support ticket. I've also found out that when I post a message which includes a picture or a file, it doesn't appear and is submitted to moderators' approval. But if the post doesn't contain attached files it appears immediately. Is this linked to a setting in the ACP ? Thank you !
SecondSight Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 Support told me to go to ACP/System/Settings/Links tab. That's what I did, then I played a little with the options, clicked on Ok and if fixed the problem... (eventhougth it was about images uploaded to posts and not llinks...).
