Restart an upgrade ?

Is it possible to restart an upgrade (version 4 to version 4.2) ? If yes, how should I proceed ?

Why do you want to do this?

Normally you just want to finish an upgrade or revert to a backup and then start over. The upgrade process expects the old data to upgrade. Restarting might lead to unexpected results.
