Are the clubs post and topics index bt search engines ? 

Also how can I edit or rename clubs to Groups ?

Depends on their type. Open and Public clubs are indexed. Closed and Private clubs are not.

By changing each and every occurrence of “club” in the language strings of your site. There are many.
