Removing Customisation

I have had a customised forum for many years now, but the latest upgrade has screwed some of it up, would I be better changing to IP Support,  which I presume is the default international skin and will it change anything, apart from colouration?

If had customised forum depending on if theme based or code based then IPS Staff will send you back here because its not item they deal with, your first point call is maybe contact person who has made changes to your site in the past they could be still be around and be able make the changes to work with 4.2.x (guessing updated that version), if that person not around your next best way is maybe comment here what you need doing again is it theme or core based changes and what was the work you had done so best person could help you move forward.

The only changes were really in colours. Bars one colour, background another, text on red bars in white etc. I suppose I could change/fix it myself but dont know where to look, its been so long. I did leave a ticket asking if they could point me at the correct section to change header. bar colours etc.

If just color changes then might find changing yourself easier.

admincp >> themes >> far right of theme name click pencil icon (Edit)

There you can easily change your logo, button colors and front end colors to your own choice.

Make sure you do not make the changes to the default theme, create a copy of default theme and make your changes to that (remembering to set that as default theme and who can view it)

Hi Steve and thanks. I will have to experiment to find out which 'bar' does what etc. When I originally did colour change many eons ago the bars were labelled correctly, this appears to have all been changed. When it comes to forum software I am a total dork!!  I also made the cvhanged config default many moons ago. There are two others in the system IPS and 4.2
